Monaghan Koryu-Uchinadi Karate Club.
We are a Traditional Karate Club based in Monaghan Ireland. We specialize in Koryu-Uchinadi Kenpo Jutsu founded by Hanshi Patrick Mc Carthy.

Class Structure.
Junior Classes.
We teach Junior Classes from Seven up-wards. We operate under the guidelines of "The Children Code of ethics" set out by the Monaghan Sports partnership. Junior classes are geared more to-wards strong body development, coordination, understanding of Karate, Confidence & Team building. Classes are thought with a creative and fun theme in mind as to appeal to the growing and learning processes of Children. Karate is a proven way of developing the body, gaining confidence, developing a good attitude and learning self-defence. This can be clearly seen in our club among our Junior members. We start kids from seven upwards.

Senior Classes
Koryu-Uchinadi Kempo Jutsu and realistic self defence. That covers two person drills, solo practices and kata, grappling, sparring, fitness and cardio workouts plus bo-jutsu. Grading will be sanctioned by Hanshi Patrick Mc Carthy and the IRKRS. For competitors the emphasis will be in entering open Shotokan kumite competitions.
